Grace Caldwell

Grace J. Caldwell, 90, of Cornwall Manor, died on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the home.

She was born on Friday, April 09, 1920 to the late John James, Jr. and Mary James nee Karch in Lebanon. She was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. Grace was the choral director at Zion Lutheran Church for 37 years and most recently chapel and bell choir at Salem Lutheran Church. She was a long time member of the Harmonia Music Club and was honored in 2007 for her love of music. She was also a member of the Lebanon Choral Society, The Women''s Club and had been active in the Republican Party.

Surviving are daughters Janet L. spouse of Richard Hoffman, Lewisberry, Suzanne Riehl, VA; grandchildren Emily Riehl and Nathan Riehl; nieces Anne Arnold, Shirley Albed; nephews Jim Foster, Robert Caldwell, David James and family Ray and Sally Savidge. She was preceded in death by husband Cliff W. Caldwell (1/19/1977); sister Doris Foster; brother Richard James.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 19, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 119 N. 8th Street, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the church.

Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harmonia Music Club or Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 119 N. 8th Street, Lebanon PA 17046.
