Harold Hower

Harold D. Hower, 87, of Lebanon, died on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at VA Medical Center.
He was born on Monday, August 17, 1925 to the late Levi P. Hower and Lizzie S. Hower nee Phillippy in Lebanon. He was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and owned a music store. He was a veteran of the Army in World War II where he was a Combat Medic. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Lodge #704 F&AM. Harold played the organ at Cedar Haven, enjoyed crafts, ballroom dancing and was the Director of Independence Ambulance.
Surviving are wife Hildegarde Hower nee Holt, Lebanon; son Gregory S. spouse of Jane Hower, Lebanon; grandchildren Alicia M. spouse of Brandon Boger, Ashley Hower; great grandchild Emily J. Boger; brother Warren J. Hower; stepdaughters Linda Seidel, Debra Seidel. He was preceded in death by wife Andora L. Hower.
Viewing will be on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 6-8PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with viewing starting at 9:00AM.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
