Harold Yiengst

Harold R. Yiengst, 87, of Lebanon, died on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Manor Care.
He was born on Thursday, January 20, 1927 to the late Leroy Yiengst and Elmira Yiengst nee Fink in Annville.  He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 21 years.  Harold was a veteran of the Navy in World War II and Korean Conflict. He served two tours in the Antarctic on the USS Enterprise and Wyandot. He was a member of American Legion, Navy Club and VFW. Harold enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Surviving are brother James Yiengst; extended family Janice Yiengst, Rebecca Schwarz, James Deets; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by brothers Roy, Lester, Paul, Richard, William, Robert; sister Arlene.
Viewing will be on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
