Harry Hains, Jr.

Harry F. Hains, Jr., 90, of Shippensburg, died on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Shippensburg Healthcare Center.
He was born on Friday, October 03, 1924 to the late Harry F. Hains, Sr. and Minnie Hains nee Reinard in Reading.  He was a member of St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked as a steelworker.  Harry was a veteran of the Army in World War II and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Surviving are companion Donna Gable; children Connie spouse of Richard Boltz, Michael spouse of Barbara Hains, Peggie spouse of Rodney Good, Dennis spouse of Somlee Hains, Joel Hains, Lori spouse of Terry Ream, Lisa Lehman; step daughter Cheryl Davis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Ralph Hains. He was preceded in death wife by Anna Mae Hains; sister Pearl Moyer.
Viewing will be on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
