Harry W. Hummell, 80, of 1905 Plaza Apartments, Lebanon, died on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at VA Medical Center.
He was born on Thursday, July 16, 1931 to Harry F. Hummell and Laura E. Hummell nee Collins in Myerstown. He was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church. He worked as a Design Engineer for GE. He was a veteran of the Navy in the Korean Conflict. Harry was involved with Lebanon VFW, Palmyra and Lebanon Legion and AM Vets. He enjoyed siftball, Steelers and his dog, Carma.
Surviving are sons Harry F. II, spouse of Diana Hummell, Lebanon, Bradley Hummell and fiance Tammy Tucker, Lebanon, Barry L. spouse of Joanne Hummell, Jacksonville, FL; daughter Linda D. spouse of Ronald Winters, Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Glenda spouse of John Arnold; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son Gregory S. Hummell; sister Mary Hummell.
Viewing will be on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church 53 Chestnut Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
