Harry E. Myrick, Sr., 85, of Lebanon, died on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Elmcroft Senior Living.
He was born on Thursday, July 23, 1931 to the late George E. Myrick and Leona B. Myrick nee Rhoads in Reading. He attended Faith Baptist Church and was a house parent for Milton Hershey School. He was a veteran of the Navy in the Korean War and in the Air Force Reserves and National Guard for 34 years. He was a graduate of the Hershey Industrial School and a member of the Patriot Sons of America. Harry also enjoyed bald eagle collectables.
Surviving are wife Esther P. Myrick nee Blimline, Lebanon; children Debra spouse of Lawrence Gesler, College Place, WA, Harry E. Jr., spouse of Elizabeth Myrick, Leola, Karl E. Myrick, Cleona, Lori spouse of Mark Manley, Myerstown; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother James G. Myrick.
Viewing will be on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
