Helen Endrizzi

January 21, 1917 — April 4, 2013

Helen Rowan Endrizzi, 96, passed away, Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Manor Care, Chambersburg.

She was born in Whiteford, MD, the daughter of the late Nelson Granger and Nancy Wheeler Rowan. She graduated from Slate Ridge High School, Thompson Business School (York, PA), and Bergen County Junior College, NJ. She began her secretarial career in the Citizens National Bank, Englewood, NJ and retired from the Lebanon, PA Veterans Administration Hospital in 1981. She was a member and Ruling Elder of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Lebanon, PA, and attended the Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring after her move to Chambersburg in 2008. She was an avid reader and looked forward to time knitting with her Chambersburg friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and all of her friends, near and far. Louis Joseph Endrizzi, her husband, preceded her in death in 1991. Neil Rowan (brother), Austin N. Rowan (brother), Marian Manifold (sister) and Margaret Myers (sister) also preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn and her husband, Charles Griffin, Chambersburg; two grandsons, Charles L. Griffin (Chambersburg), Andrew J. and wife Jodi (Thomas) Griffin (Vienna, VA); four great-grandchildren, Charles L. Griffin (Boston, MA), Jonathan L. Griffin (Chambersburg), Joel and Hayley Griffin (Vienna, VA) and nieces and nephews

A viewing will take place at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 11, with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 600 S. 12th Street, Lebanon, PA.

Burial will take place at Grand View Cemetery, Annville, PA.
