Helen Gockley

Helen C. (Davis) Gockley, 84, died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services-Kingston Court in York.  She was the wife of the late Glenn E. Gockley.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street in Lebanon, PA with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial of ashes will be in Kochenderfer’s “Zion” Cemetery in Lebanon.  Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with local arrangements.

Mrs. Gockley was born in South Londonderry Township, Lebanon County on December 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Floyd E. and Lena V. (Luttrel) Davis.

Mrs. Gockley was a charter member of York Quilters Guild and she enjoyed showing her quilts at the York Fair.

Mrs. Gockley leaves a son, David A. Gockley and his wife Cheryl of Hellam; three daughters, Carol A Fink and her husband, Dan of Myerstown, Robin S. Gockley of North Carolina, and Diane E. Gockley of Texas; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a sister, Jean Noll and her husband, Robert of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
