Helen Hicksenheiser

Helen Jane Hicksenheiser, 90, of  Annville, died on Thursday, April 03, 2014 at Countryside Christian Community.
She was born on Friday, January 18, 1924 to the late Charles W. Gettle and Edna Gettle nee Deitzler in Lebanon Independent Boro.  She was a member of Bethany United Methodist (E.U.B.) Church.  She enjoyed bus trips, crafts and meeting new people. Helen liked going to Atlantic City with her friends, children and helping others. She was dearly loved by her family and many friends.
Surviving are brothers Harry Greenawalt, Robert P. spouse of Gladys Gettle, Karl E. spouse of Linda Gettle, Bruce A. spouse of JoAnn Gettle; sister Caroll A. Gettle; sister-in-law Lorraine Gettle; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by husband Harvey F. Hicksenheiser whom she married on November 10, 1957; brothers Richard Gettle, Charles Gettle, Jr., William Greenawalt; sister June E. Gettle.
Viewing will be on Monday, April 07, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Countryside Christian Community, 520 N. Rt. 934, Annville.
Funeral services will be on Monday, April 07, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the chapel.
Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
