Helen M. Christ Ream, 94, of 590 S. 5th Avenue, Lebanon, died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Cedar Haven in Lebanon.
She was born September 4, 1915 to the late James and Bessie Hole Christ in Ohio. She was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Lebanon. She was a garment worker and enjoyed sewing and embroidering, flowers and shopping.
Surviving is husband Harry R. Ream of Lebanon; son James spouse of Ruth Lymaster of Pine Grove; daughters Betty Deck and companion Kenneth Gerhart of Manheim, Hattie spouse of Elwood Moyer of Richland; sister Mildred Klinger of Tremont; 8 stepchildren; 18 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 78 great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son William Lymaster; sister Mary Martin; brother Edward Christ; one great great grandchild; 2 step children; 2 nieces.
Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, November 19, 2009, from 10-11AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc. at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 19, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc. at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
