Henry Demler, Jr.

Henry W. "Hank" Demler, Jr., 83, of Palmyra, died on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Traditions of Hershey. He was born on Saturday, May 20, 1939 to the late Henry W. Demler, Sr. and Dora M. Demler nee Bressler in Lebanon. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1957 and was an Electronic Engineer at AMP, where he retired. Hank was a Navy Veteran and Flotilla Commander for the US Coast Guard Auxiliary in Wrightsville, PA and Clearwater FL for 26 years. He also enjoyed woodworking. Surviving are wife Catherine A. Demler nee Grodensky; children Edward Demler and spouse Grace, Dori Strauss and spouse Gordon, Jr., Kathi Nye and spouse John, II; grandchildren Amanda Wolfe, Bradley Wolfe and spouse Katelynn. He was preceded in death by sister Linda Kleinfelter. Visitation will be on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Memorial services will be on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N.
