Herbert J. "Herb" Hoover, 83, of Lebanon, died on Monday, June 25, 2012 at his home.
He was born on Monday, April 15, 1929 to the late Irvin Hoover and Martha Hoover nee Stump in Dayton, OH. He
was a member of Fairland Brethren In Christ Church. He was a minister and enjoyed reading, gardening and fixing
various items.
Surviving are wife Evelyn O. Hoover nee Oberholser, Lebanon; daughter Anna Hoover, Philadelphia; son Roger
spouse of Ruth Hoover, Philadelphia; daughter Kandy Hoover, Lancaster; grandchildren Miriam Roberts, Isaac
Roberts, Daniel Hoover, Naomi Hoover; sisters Charlotte Espenshade,
Carolyn Clinch.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 6:30-8:30PM at Fairland Brethren In Christ Church, 529 West
Penn Avenue, Cleona.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM with viewing at 10:00AM at the church.
Burial will be at Air Hill Church Cemetery, Chambersburg on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00AM.
