Herman H. Hitz, Jr., 90, of Lebanon, died on Friday, May 05, 2017 at Cedar Haven.
He was born on Wednesday, January 12, 1927 to the late Herman H. Hitz, Sr. and Jennie Hitz nee Rupp in Jonestown. He was a member of Living Waters Chapel and worked as a payroll clerk for Bethlehem Steel. Herman was a veteran of the Army in World War II. He was the president of Lebanon School Board for 12 years, past treasurer for Lebanon Camp Meeting and was a Senior Center volunteer.
Surviving are daughters Debra spouse of Terry Zellers, Elaine spouse of Randy Eisenhauer; son Brian K. spouse of Deborah Hitz; grandchildren Jeremy Eisenhauer, Chad Eisenhauer, Jordan Eisenhauer, Kimberly Sandoe, Matthew Zellers; great grandchildren Sadye Eisenhauer, Avery Eisenhauer, Carter Eisenhauer, Kennedy Eisenhauer, Gavin Sandoe. He was preceded in death by wife Elizabeth Hitz nee Morovchek.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, May 09, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Living Waters Chapel, 1900 Jay Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 09, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
