Homer R. Preis, 92, of Lebanon, died on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Manor Care.
He was born on Sunday, February 01, 1920 to the late John Preis and Sally Preis nee Buchter in Lebanon. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. He worked as a security guard and Bethlehem Steel and was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. He sang with the Bethany Boys, was a choir director at church and Sunday school teacher. He enjoyed golf, baseball and football.
Surviving are wife June C. Preis nee Fox; Children James spouse of Peggy Preis, Susan spouse of Ronald Shay, Patricia spouse of Richard Rettew, Thomas Preis; stepchildren Barbara Wise, Kenneth Smith, Patricia Weinzierl, Nancy Macnamara; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Viewing will be on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Ebenezer "Covenant" Cemetery, Lebanon, with full military honors, following the service.
