Irvin K. "Butch" Gampher, Jr., 78, of 590 S. 5th Avenue, Lebanon, died on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Cedar Haven.
He was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1931 to the late Irvin K. Gampher, Sr. and Magdalena Gampher nee Bogner
in Palmyra. He was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church. He worked as a mail clerk at Cedar
Haven. He was a member of the slow poke club, enjoyed music and sang in the choir at Cedar Haven and helped
with the workdays at St. James Lutheran Church.
Surviving are sister Kathy spouse of Jim Plummer, Lock Haven; several cousins; and fiance Helen Steckbeck.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Cedar Haven, 590 S. 5th Avenue,
Lebanon. An evening viewing will also be on Tuesday May 18, 2010 from 6-8PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc.,
226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Cedar Haven.
Burial will be at Bindnagles Lutheran Church Cemetery, Palmyra, following the service.
