Jacob N. "Jake" Roy

Jacob N. "Jake" Roy, 87, of Palmyra, died on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on Friday, November 9, 1934 to the late John Kowal and Helen Kowal nee Solesky in Lebanon. He worked as a steelworker at Bethlehem Steel and was a veteran of the Army in the Korean Wat. Jake enjoyed bowling, dart league and pool. Surviving are children Barbara A. Adams and spouse Butch, Jr., Robert Roy, John Roy and companion Karlene Smith; grandchildren Crystal Sourwine, Gennifer Spangler, Veronica Madera, Bobbi-Sue Roy, Odessa Oreo, Adam Roy, Joshua Roy-Morgan; 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Anna M. Roy nee Johnson. Viewing will be on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 11:30 to 12:00pm at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors.
