James D. "Jim" Lasch, a devoted father, grandfather, and respected member of the Lebanon community, has sadly passed away on July 22, 2024. Born in Lebanon, PA on October 24, 1946 to the late James R. Lasch and Arlene A. Lasch nee Washburn, Mr. Lasch led a fulfilling life before his passing at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon at the age of 77. A dedicated mail carrier by profession and a proud Air Force veteran, Mr. Lasch's unwavering commitment to his duties and love for his country were commendable traits that defined his character. Throughout his life, Jim took great joy in simple pleasures such as supporting his beloved Philadelphia Phillies, spending time fishing, and indulging in scratch-off tickets. His love for animals and penchant for outdoor activities reflected his kind-hearted nature and love for the world around him. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Garman (Scott); step-daughter Lisa Hoyer (Steve); grandchild Brittney Innocent (Blake); step-grandchildren Douglas Hoyer and Ben Hoyer; great-grandchild Vienna Innocent; sister Cheryl McGuiney (Bob); nephew Eric McGuiney (Roberta); niece Lainie McGuiney. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen A. Lasch nee Rutter; son Ryan Lasch; . His memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Funeral services will take place at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. on July 29, 2024, with a public viewing starting at 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 pm.
