Janet Eileen Schamber, 84, of Linden Village died June 28 at The Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was the wife of the late John E. Schamber and was married to for 61 years. Born October 9, 1927 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Eileen Grimm Sullivan of Lebanon and John H. Grimm of Lancaster.
She is survived by daughter Joan E. wife of John R. Brewer of Lebanon; number of cousins; nieces and nephews. She was of the Brethren Faith. She was an avid reader and excellent seamstress.
Viewing will be on Monday, July 02, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, July 02, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
