Janice Russellene Jones, 85, of 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 09, 2010.
She was born on Thursday, January 22, 1925 to the late Mark Walters and Russellene Walters nee Eells in Johnson City, NY. She enjoyed writing letters to missionaries, reading and collecting sheep trinkets. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and foster children.
Surviving are son Dale H. spouse of Sue Jones, Elizabethtown; daughter Karen spouse of Tim Trautman, FL; grandchildren Blaine H. spouse of Nicole Jones, Palmyra, Charity S. spouse of Matthew Chittum, OH, Kristie J. Condran, Elizabethtown, Lance D. spouse of Valerie Jones, Harrisburg, Tabetha Bowman, FL; 6 great grandchildren; brother Mark Walters, Jr., GA; 4 nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Howard B. Jones.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ono United Methodist Church, 9 Main Street, Ono.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
