Jay Trout

Jay K. Trout, 83, of 7 West Park Avenue, Myerstown, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the home.

He was born March 6, 1926 to the late William and Gladys Irene Ditzler Trout in Lebanon. He was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Lebanon where he was active in committees. He was a parts salesman for Bamberger''s. He played hockey, baseball, golf and basketball. He was also an excellent woodworker, building furniture and cabinets.

Surviving is wife Hilda D. Baney Trout; sons Michael L. spouse of Linda L. Trout of Myerstown, Robert J spouse of Judith A. Trout of Myerstown; grandchildren Robert Trout, Angie Faust, Holly Lee, Desiree'' York; great grandchildren Trevor Smith, Paige Smith, Keira Trout, Rhyce Faust; niece Stephanie Kellerman; nephews Ammon G. Belleman, Christopher Belleman, Matthew Belleman. He was preceded in death by step father George Schaeffer and sister Elizabeth Belleman.

Viewing is scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2009, from 10-11AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc. at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 5, 2009, at 11AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc. at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.

Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park.
