Jeanne Strack

Jeanne Mae Strack, 68, of Myerstown, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was born on Friday, December 06, 1946 to Ida Umbenhen nee Haldeman and the late LeRoy Umbenhen in Lebanon.  She was an active member of Zion "Goshert's" United Church of Christ. She was a 1964 graduate of Northern Lebanon High School. She was the owner and operator of Jeanne's Word Center in Lebanon and helped manage Stracks Tree Farm from 1979 to present. Jeanne had a son, Christian, who was killed in an auto accident in 1975. She and her husband would have been married 50 years on August 1. Jeanne was involved with the Master Gardner Program and enjoyed reading and Celtic music.
Surviving are husband John F. Strack; sons David M. Strack, Terry A. spouse of Emily Strack; grandchildren Lacy Mae Strack, Dylan Strack; step grandchild Kendall Achey; sisters Janet Kohr, Joanne Piper; nieces Rebecca DeAngelo, Tina Banner; nephews Daniel Smith, Jacob Meyer.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Zion "Goshert's" United Church of Christ, 1588 Mt. Zion Road, Lebanon.
Burial will be at Zion "Goshert's" UCC Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
