Joan (Wisham) Adamson, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 5, 2024 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She was born on Wednesday, August 27, 1947 to the late Solon Wisham and Gracie Lois Harvey Wisham in Butler, Georgia. Joan graduated from Butler High School and continued her education at Stedson University. Once she obtained her Master’s degree she moved on to Florida Institute of Technology and achieved her Doctorate in Psychology. She devoted her life to helping others and worked for Brevard County as a Psychologist until her retirement. Joan loved to read and enjoyed being around friends and family; especially her grandchildren. She passed her love of reading onto her grandchildren and always made sure they knew how much she loved them. Joan is survived by her Children Lauren Moyer and spouse Brian, Dr. Paul MacDonald; Grandchildren Solan Bass, Gabrielle Bass, Amanda Moyer, Brian Moyer, Jr., Samantha Granger; and 8 Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 17 years, David Adamson; Granddaughter Whitney Bass and Sister Sonya Laubscher.
