Joan Mauser

Joan Z. "Joanie" Mauser, 80, of Myerstown, died on Friday, June 3, 2022 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was born on Monday, July 21, 1941 to the late Alvin K. Zeller and Naomi K. Zeller nee Keener in Lebanon. She was a member of Myerstown Church of the Brethren and retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Joan was a Master Gardener, Granger and a Lions Club member. Surviving are husband John D. Mauser, Jr.; children James E. Harper and spouse Brenda, Karen L. Taylor and spouse Howie; grandchildren Shanna Michael, Kathrin Harper, Ethan Harper, Jakeb Harper, Jordan Harper, Krista Taylor, Jennifer Dove and spouse Frank, Louise Smith and fiance Leroy Richardson, Ricky Mauser II and spouse Rachel, Brent Mauser and spouse Tamara, Kelly Glant and fiance Mike Sholly; great grandchildren Saphira, Michael, Tyler, Brienna, Emily, Wayne, Leroy Jr. "LJ", Ashlyn ; brother Robert Zeller; sisters Bernice Dodd, Ruth Ford, Sylvia Hoffman; stepchildren Theresa Smith and Ricky Mauser, Sr. She was preceded in death by siblings Curtis Zeller, Harry Zeller, John Zeller, Anna Mae Wolf, Betty Light, Warren Zeller, John Zeller. Viewing will be on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Myerstown Church of the Brethren, 51 W Stoever Ave, Myerstown. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 12:30 PM at the church. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
