Joan was the daughter of the late John M. Heckard and Dorothy M. Heckard (Snavely).
She is survived by significant other, Sterling Tobias, her daughter, Lisa Border (Rump); two grandchildren, Danielle M. Border and Adam L. Border; great grandson Adam L. Border, Jr., (AJ).
Viewing will be on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with viewing starting at 10:00AM.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
