John W. Fox, 88, of Lebanon, died on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Linden Village.
He was born on Thursday, September 27, 1923 to the late John C.T. Fox and Estella M. Fox nee Readinger in Lebanon. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps in World War II. He was a 1941 LHS graduate and worked as a chemical analyst for Bethlehem Steel and payroll clerk for MS Hershey Medical Center. He was a member of Lebanon Drum and Bugle Corps, member of the Mens Class, church financial secretery for 13 years, communion stewart and served on the Administrative Board at church. John also enjoyed bowling.
Surviving are daughters Carolyn M. spouse of Richard Blahosky, Allentown, Susan D. Stickler, Palmyra; sisters Betty Houser, Jonestown, Dorothy Edris, Jonestown; grandchildren Christopher J. Blahosky, Allentown, Jonathan W. Blahosky, Philadelphia, Franklin T. Stickler II, Lebanon; 8 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Gertrude Fox nee Zeh.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 29 E. Maple Street, Cleona.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
