John D. "Jack" Gray, 87, of Lebanon, died on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Manor Care.
He was born on Tuesday, September 09, 1924 to Harry Gray, Sr. and Daisy Gray nee Spotts in Washington D.C.
He was an active member of Midway Church of the Brethren. He worked as an auto technician and worked at Burt
Weber, Lebanon Car & Truck Center and DJ Parr. He was a veteran of the Navy in World War II. He was on the
Board of New Covenant School, played golf and loved his country.
Surviving are sons Phillip "Pete" spouse of Julie Gray, Hummelstown, Ronald C. spouse of Faye Gray, Myerstown,
Fred A. spouse of Nancy Gray, Lebanon; grandchildren Hillary Giampietro, Emily Gray, Wade Gray, Marc Gray,
Tracey Gray; brother George A. Gray; sister-in-law Marie W. Gray; brother-in-law Merl Craun; several nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Evelyn Gray nee Craun.
Viewing will be on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Midway Church of the Brethren, 13
Evergreen Road, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be at Midway Brethren Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
