Karl J. "Silver Boot" Smith, 83, of 113 S. 17th Street, Lebanon, died on Friday, November 05, 2010 at VA Medical
Center.
He was born on Monday, February 21, 1927 to the late Charles Smith and Sadie Smith nee Schach in Pine Grove.
He was a member of St. Matthews EL Church, Pine Grove. He worked as a welder. He was a veteran of the Navy
in World War II. He was involved with the Navy Club, Lebanon United monitor Patrol, AM Vets, American Legion,
Keystone Gun Club, VFW and loved to tend to his rose garden.
Surviving are wife Catherine Smith nee Shirk, Lebanon; daughter Sandra spouse of Charles Agee, Lebanon;
grandchildren Kevin Leaman, Becky Leaman, Karlene Smith,
Kenny Bedleyoung; great grandchildren Chelsia, Kenny Jr., Kiara; several aunts and cousins; dog Lucky. He was
preceded in death by daughter Karla "Kork" spouse of Roger Weierbach.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, November 09, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226
Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 09, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
