Kathryn Etchberger

Kathryn Y. "Katie" Etchberger, 95, of Lebanon, died on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Linden Village.
She was born on Thursday, May 02, 1918 to the late Robert Yingst and Blossie Yingst nee Snyder in Lebanon. She was a member of Tabor United Church of Christ. She was a 1934 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1939 graduate of Lebanon Valley College. Kathryn was a music teacher at Jonestown High School and elementary teacher in the Lebanon School District. She was a past matron for OES #115, life member of Lebanon School of Retired Employees Association and a director of the childrens choir at her church for 25 years. Katie enjoyed reading, knitting, traveling and music. She was the last of her immediate family.
Surviving are son Robert spouse of Sue Etchberger. She was preceded in death by husband of 59 years, William F. Etchberger.
Viewing will be on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
