Kathryn Light

Kathryn E. Light, 90, of 945 Duke Street, Lebanon, died on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was born on Monday, April 19, 1920 to the late Wayne Kleinfelter and Mabel Kleinfelter nee Eberhart in Lebanon. She was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church. She worked as a sales manager for Haaks Department Store. She enjoyed knitting and donated to the underprivileged children. She enjoyed traveling and was the trip coordinator for the Retired Steelworkers. She was active in the church, on church council, Sunday School teacher and was the president of the Ladies Group. She liked flowers and her vegetable garden. She liked telling historical stories about the area. She was also a cat lover.

Surviving are daughter Deborah spouse of Donald Bemesderfer, Lebanon; sons Frederick M. Light, Leesport, James E. spouse of Beth Light, St. Thomas; grandchildren Jeremiah Light, Matthew Light, Sarah Light; great grandchild Shannon Light. She was preceded in death by husband Fred Light; brother Sterling Kleinfelter.

Viewing will be on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 53 Chestnut Street, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 12:00 PM at the church.

Burial will be at Kimmerling''s Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
