Kathryn H. "Kitty" Reed, 91, of 590 S. 5th Avenue, Lebanon, died on Saturday, May 01, 2010 at Cedar Haven.
She was born on Saturday, February 22, 1919 to the late Abner Houser and Mamie Houser nee Knoll in N. Annville
Twp., PA. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She worked as a bookkeeper. She was a
graduate of Annville High School and Lebanon Business School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern
Star. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed crocheting.
Surviving are daughter Suzanne K. spouse of Theodore Schafebook, Lebanon; grandchildren Mark B. spouse of
Heather Schafebook, Myerstown, Steven M. spouse of Tricia Schafebook, Jonestown, Kelly L. spouse of Daniel
Fornsaglio, Lebanon; great grandchildren Rachel Schafebook, Abigail Schafebook, Dmitry Schafebook. She was
preceded in death by husband Claude D. Reed.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226
Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
