Larry Runkel

Larry G. "Buck" Runkel, 76, of Jonestown, died on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his home.
He was born on Thursday, June 3, 1943 to the late Alfred W. Runkel and Susan R. Runkel nee Redinger in Lebanon. He was a veteran of the Navy in the Vietnam War. He served in the US Navy four years and four months during the Cuban Crisis and Vietnam Conflict. He then served 34 years 11 months and 4 days in the PA Air National Guard during Gulf War, Desert Storm, and the beginning of the Iraq War. He was a member of the American Legion; AMVETS; Social member of the Pine Grove VFW; Mt. Zion Fire Company; and the St. Francis Club.
Surviving are wife Bonnie R. Runkel nee Becker; daughter Zoe R. spouse of Victor Young; grandchildren Zane Young and Sage Young.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
