Leonard Kessler

Leonard L. "Lenny" Kessler, 82, of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, December 04, 2013 at VA Medical Center.
He was born on Sunday, February 15, 1931 to the late Lee Lewis Kessler and Myrtle Naomi Kessler nee Miller in Hegins, PA. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of the Army in the Korean Conflict and was a retired maintenance engineer at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation, retired from Middletown Army Depot and the Army Reserve for 20 years. Leonard was active in the North Lebanon twp. Lions Club, TPA, Senior Center and Men of Salem.
Surviving are wife Betty M. Kessler nee Reed; step sons Samuel spouse of Nancy Rank, Claude spouse of Lori Rank; step daughter Dolly spouse of Floyd Shepps; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother Ronald L. Kessler; sister Ruth K. Miller.
Viewing will be on Monday, December 09, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, December 09, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kochenderfer's "Zion" Cemetery, Lebanon, with full military honors, following the service.
