Leroy W. "Shorty" Yiengst, 87, of 809 Oak Lane, Lebanon, died on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Good
Samaritan Hospital.
He was born on Saturday, December 02, 1922 to the late Herbert Yiengst and Laura Yiengst nee Ruth in Reading,
PA. He worked at Cornwall Ore Mines. He was a veteran of the Army in World War II. He enjoyed watching
Nascar, playing cards and the outdoors.
Surviving are wife Christine R. Yiengst nee Reppert, Lebanon; son Ricky Lee Yiengst, Lebanon; grandchildren Amy
spouse of Jesus Lopez, FL, Edward Kale, Jr., Lebanon; great grandchildren Julisa Lopez, Deanna Lopez, Kasara
Kale; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter Karen Yiengst.
Viewing will be on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s
