Linda Brown

Mrs. Linda L. Brown, 79, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was born on Sunday, July 6, 1941 to Wilbur E. Bowman and Mae W. Bowman nee Grimes in Lebanon, PA.  Linda worked in the Circulation Department for the Lebanon Daily News.  She is survived by her husband Russell Brown, they would have celebrated their 60th year anniversary on April 22. She loved her husband and her family and her grandkids, she enjoyed spending time at the family cabin, or going to the beach in the Outer Banks. Linda also loved betting on the ponies or sitting down playing slot machines. She would talk frequently about her dog Bailey, and her bird named Pretty girl, and her fish. You would most likely see Linda thrift shopping at places like the Jubilee.

Surviving are husband Russell Brown; Children Daniel Brown and wife Wendy, Diane Heckard, David Brown and wife Lisa, Duane Brown and companion Andrea; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchild; 4 step-great grandchildren; sister Betty Simmers and several nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc.

Services will be on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc..

Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
