Lorraine M. Gernert, 83, of Quentin, died on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born on Thursday, February 16, 1928 to the late Herman Hoke and Fannie Hoke nee Kreiser in Quentin. She was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, ceremics and spending time with her family.
Surviving are son Terry spouse of Polly Gernert, Dushore, PA; daughter Linda Kane, Lebanon; sons Dale spouse of Susie Gernert, Cornwall, Darv spouse of Sandy Gernert, Fredericksburg, Doug spouse of Sue Gernert, Lebanon; daughter Beverly Gernert, Lebanon; son Perry Gernert, Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 brother; 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by husband Harry Gernert; son Edward Gernert.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Quentin (Bismarck) Cemetery, Quentin, following the service.
