Louise Stroman

Louise Stroman nee Bates, 91, passed away peacefully at the Cedar Haven Healthcare Center in Lebanon on Monday, September 11, 2023. She was born on Sunday, April 9, 1933 to the late Timothy Bates and Carrie Bates nee Neely in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Louise enjoyed cooking and loved taking care of her family by making them delicious meals as often as she could. She also enjoyed playing card games and bingo with her friends. Louise is survived by her son Lloyd Stroman; grandchildren Jahre A. Stroman, Janasia Williams-Stroman, Shawn A. Stroman, Shanette N. Stroman-Davis, Roshel Johnson and Melisa Layfield; great-grandchildren Alaya Personette and Ah'vaya Teasdal; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her son Michael Stroman and siblings Phillip Bates, Hamilton Bates, Julia Williams, Timothy R. Bates, Rosalee Bates and Andrew Bates. Viewing will be held at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., Lebanon, on Friday September 22, 2023 at 6:00 PM.
