Luther Koehler

Luther H. Koehler, 95, of Avon, died on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at his home.
He was born on Sunday, June 15, 1919 to the late Harry Koehler and Edith Koehler nee Derr in Lebanon. He lived with his grandparents Alfred H. Koehler and Sarah G. Koehler nee Lausch. He had owned Koehler Garage for 35 years and a mechanic for Art Longenecker, D.K. Wissler, Reading Street Railway and Lebanon Transit Co.  Luther enjoyed traveling and boating with his wife.
Surviving are daughter Janice F. Koehler, Avon; son Roger J. spouse of Barbara Koehler, Holly Hill, FL; cousin Dorothy Gill.  He was preceded in death by wife L. Koehler nee Stager; son Larry Lee Koehler; brother Richard Koehler; sisters Betty Fisher, Margaret S. Koehler.
Viewing will be on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kimmerling's Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
