Mabel Valeria "Becky" Raisbeck Fedder, 98 of 200 Bellann Court, Annville, died on Sunday, December 20, 2009, at
Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon.
She was born Saturday, June 10, 1911 with the name of Mary Elizabeth Lee to the late Lafayette and Amanda
Stinson Lee in Jersey City, NJ. After the death of her mother she was put in an orphanage and later adopted at age
4 by Mr. and Mrs. Raisbeck of North Philadelphia and renamed Mabel Valeria Raisbeck. She had 4 months to go to
be a graduate nurse of Allentown General Hospital, but got married instead. She was a 50 year member of Avon UM
Church. She was a salesperson for JC Penney Store and a volunteer for Avon Playground for years. She was also
a member of Order of Eastern Star #115 of Lebanon.
Surviving are daughters, Eunice J. Reist widow of Frank F. Reist of Lebanon, Jean E. spouse of Robert Breiner of
Timonium, MD and Joan M. spouse of Elmer L. Books of Cleona; 3 granddaughters; 6 grandsons; 12 great
granddaughters; 6 great grandsons; 2 great great granddaughters; 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in
death by husband Victor D. Fedder (1985) whom she married in 1930; sisters Florence May Bonham, May Florence
Lee; brothers Lafayette Lee, Howard Lee, Charles Lee.
Viewing will be from 11-12 on Monday December 28, 2009 at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc. 226 Cumberland
Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
