Marion Rhen

Marion I. Rhen, 93, of Lebanon, died on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Spang Crest Manor.

She was born on Sunday, August 31, 1919 to the late Harry W. Hower, Sr. and Mamie Hower nee Shanaman in Lebanon. She was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and was baptized in February 1920. She graduated from Harrison School and Lebanon Business College in 1939. Marion worked as a secretary for CB Webb Ball Co., a chief clerk for Lebanon Ration Board during World War II, receptionist and bookkeeper for Community Chest and Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and secretary and financial secretary for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for 47 years. She enjoyed playing piano and organ and reading.

Surviving are son Edward S. Rhen, Lebanon; grandchildren Julie E. spouse of Cody Mask, TX, Andrew D. Rhen, Lebanon; great grandchild Lillian Mask; brother Harry W. Jr., spouse of Margarite Hower, Lebanon; 4 nieces; 1 nephew; several cousins; sister-in-law Christine Hower, Lebanon. She was preceded in death by husband Sterling F. Rhen; brother Richard E. Hower.

Viewing will be on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Kimmerling''s Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
