Marjorie A. "Marge" Ziegler, 87, of Lebanon, died on Saturday, August 04, 2012 at Cedar Haven.
She was born on Tuesday, August 04, 1925 to the late Rennie Lee Travis and Ferree Travis nee Minter in Sabine
Parish, LA. She was a member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ. She attended Northwestern State
University in Natchitoches, LA for 2 years, and graduated from Alexandria Business College in Alexandria, LA. She
worked at the Guaranty Bank and Trust in Alexandria and then retried as General Manager of the Lousianna
Livestock Replacement Association. She was a member of Lebanon Valley College Auxillary; past board member &
treasurer of the Mental Health Ass''n of Lebanon County; past president of Tri County Volunteer Council at
Wernersville State Hospital encompassing Berks, Lebanon, & Schuylkill County patients; past president of Lebanon
Jaycees; and past board member of Valley Beach Club.
Surviving are daughter Susan Ziegler, Lebanon; sister Faye Manuel, Alexandria, LA; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband Jack C. Ziegler; sisters Atrella Hickman, Grace Samples, Maude Thevenot,
Gladys Engelhardt; brother Howard Travis.
Memorial services will be on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Stephens United Church of Christ,
1100 Hunters Chase Lane, Lebanon.
Inurnment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, on Friday August 17, 2012 at 11:30AM.
