Mark H. Horst, 87, of Lebanon, died on Friday, November 18, 2011 at his home.
He was born on Monday, August 04, 1924 to the late Paul I. Horst and Ellen R. Horst nee Dundore in Lebanon. He was a member of Avon Zion United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Navy in World War II and served in the South Pacific. He was married for 66 years. Mark worked for Bayer/Sterling Drug and played violin in Hershey Orchestra for 20 years.
Surviving are wife Cora M. Horst nee Cabana; sons Robert Horst, Daytona, FL, William J. spouse of Donna Horst, Lebanon; Kathleen spouse of Gregg Snyder, Palmyra; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by sons James Horst, Kenneth Horst, Thomas Horst; daughter Barbara Horst Miller; grandchild Jared Horst.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
