Marlene M. Strause, 76, of Myerstown, died on Sunday, August 04, 2013 at StoneRidge Retirement.
She was born on Friday, April 02, 1937 to the late Hubert Hibshman and Jennie Hibshman nee Noll in Lebanon. She was a member of Myerstown Church of the Brethren. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and baking, country and southern gospel music.
Surviving are sons Sheldon spouse of Robin Strause, Manheim, Jeffrey Strause, Myerstown, Kirk spouse of Tammy Strause, Sanford, NC; grandchildren Amber Strause Roach, NC, Courtney Strause, NC, Jennifer Spangenburg, East Petersburg, Jeremy Strause, Manheim, Brittany Strause, Manheim; brother Robert spouse of Jacqueline Hibshman, Richland. She was preceded in death by husband Robert R. Strause.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, August 07, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 07, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at New Union Cemetery, Myerstown, following the service.
