Marlin R. "Snub" Snavely, 91, of Lebanon, died on Monday, July 07, 2014 at Manor Care.
He was born on Thursday, December 14, 1922 to the late Charles E. Snavely and Amelia B. Snavely nee Nye in Middletown. He retired as a machinist for Conrail and was a veteran of the Navy in World War II. He enjoyed gardening, reading and history.
Surviving are son Robert Snavely; daughters Marlene Snavely, Sandra K. Hinkel; grandchildren Matthew Snavely, Adam Snavely, Tony Hinkel; great grandchildren Sarah Snavely, Bethany Snavely, Emily Snavely, Jacob Snavely. He was preceded in death by wife Esther S. Snavely nee Clauser.
Viewing will be on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service.
