Marnetta Snyder

Marnetta J. Snyder, 94, of StoneRidge Poplar Run, Myerstown, PA passed away on August 18, 2021.
She was born on September 11, 1926, a daughter of late Benjamin F. Beck and Minnie (Weitkamp) Beck. She was very close to her stepmother, the late Helen (Bender) Beck. Marnetta was the wife of the late Russell C. Snyder, who passed away on November 11, 1999. She attended the former Harrison School in Lebanon. She was basically a stay at home mother who also did part time work for Fuller Brush and Fanny Farmer Candies. Marnetta was a woman of strong Christian faith. She was a member of the first ECC Church in Lebanon, where she taught Sunday School for many years and was a member of the choir. She is survived by her children: David R. Snyder, Husband of Karen G. of Womelsdorf, Dennis C. Snyder, Husband of Patricia of Harrisburg and Diane L., partner of Robert Witman of Cleona. Also surviving are brothers Donald and Brian Beck and Noreen Habecker. There are also seven grandchildren: Christopher, Beth, Phillip, and Kelly Snyder, Christa Klinger, and Erin Kerber wife of Stephen and Matthew Snyder husband of Amanda. Seven great-grandchildren also survive her. She was predeceased by her brothers Benjamin and Richard Beck. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
