Martha Ogurcak

Martha S. Ogurcak, 97, of Cornwall, died on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Cornwall Manor.

She was born on Saturday, July 04, 1914 to the late John Peter Swope and Mollie Susan Swope nee Dissinger in Philadelphia. She was a member of St. John''s United Methodist Church. She worked as a homemaker and in an office. She was involved with her church in playing the piano, teaching Sunday school and singing in the choir. Martha loved her flower gardens, crocheting and the Philadelphia Phillies. She was an avid board game player and won a gold medal in Scrabble in Cornwall Manor.

Surviving are son Paul L. Ogurcak, Lititz; daughter Lori S. spouse of Robert Jennings, Elwood City; 3 grandchildren; nephew Earnest Hardenstine, LA, stepsons John F. spouse of Sue Ogurcak, Camp Hill, Robert B. spouse of Julia Ogurcak, Cornwall; stepdaughters Carol M. spouse of Ernest Reppert, Lebanon, Mary E. Kreiser, Lebanon; 13 step grandchildren; 17 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, who died in 1988, John L. Ogurcak; and one step great grandchild.

Viewing will be on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
