Martin Smith, Jr.

Martin L. "Marty" Smith, Jr., 83, of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Cedar Haven.
He was born on Friday, September 15, 1933 to the late Martin L. Smith, Sr. and Ella Mae Smith nee Aungst in Lebanon. He attended Faith Baptist Church and worked in various jobs with Ford Motor Company for 34 years.  He was a veteran of the Army in Korea.  Marty enjoyed camping, fishing, boating in the Chesapeake Bay area. He also enjoyed restoring cars, lawn work and helping people in a time of need.
Surviving are wife Geraldine F. Smith nee Ill; daughters Vickie Lynn Boyer and spouse John Boyer Sr., Lebanon, Jody Lynn Willowghby, Norristown; grandchildren John Boyer, Jr., Joseph M. Boyer, Timothy M. Ruhl, Nathan M. Ruhl, Eric M. Ruhl, Norristown, Sean Donato; 5 great grandchildren; brother Leroy Smith; sisters Violet Achey, Betty Heilman, Marilyn Schauer,
Jacqueline Fisher, Naomi Clemens. He was preceded in death by sister Mary Rutter.
Viewing will be on Monday, May 01, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, May 01, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
