Matthew Welch

“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lam. 3:23. Matthew Robert McCord Welch, 38 years old, died September 11, 2018 in Lebanon, PA and is now home in Heaven in the presence of his Savior. He issurvived by his parents, Bob and Lucy Welch, his sister Andi Lynn Jacobsmeyer (Kenneth), niece Melina, and nephews Henry and Charlie Jacobsmeyer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents Mary Margaret and Fred McCord, and Edith and Donald Welch. Matthew loved people, never meeting a stranger. He was a diehard LSU fan even while living far away in Pennsylvania for the last 18 years. He especially treasured recently earning a bachelor’s degree in theology from Omega Bible College. Matthew’s name means “Gift of God” and he truly was God’s gift to us. We are indeed grateful for the love and prayers of so many for our family through the years. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Christ Covenant Church, 1700 Lee Drive and Wednesday, September 19 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM followed by a memorial service Celebrating God’s Faithfulness.
