Merrill Herneisey

Merrill L. Herneisey, 82, of Lebanon, died on Friday, July 19, 2013 at his home.
He was born on Saturday, October 11, 1930 to the late Walter Herneisey and Violet Herneisey nee Weist in Middletown. He worked as a steelworker and enjoyed fishing, sports and country music. Merrill was a Steelworkers Union Representative for Lebanon Steel Foundry.
Surviving are daughter Carol Jones and companion Charlie Hoffa, Lebanon; son Larry spouse of Madeline Herneisey, Lebanon; daughters Karen spouse of Jim Engle, Manheim, Gail Mann companion of Allen Smetana, Lebanon; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister Naomi Batz. He was preceded in death by wife Esther Herneisey nee Gerber; 1 great grandchild.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 235 Maple Street, Lebanon.
