Mildred M. Althouse, 85, of Myerstown, died on Monday, February 14, 2011 at StoneRidge Retirement-Town Center.
She was born on Wednesday, April 15, 1925 to the late Alvin K. Haak and Mabel Haak nee Bomberger in Myerstown. She was a member of Elco Bible Church. She enjoyed gardening, embroidery and baking.
Surviving are husband Henry H. Althouse, Myerstown; sons Aaron A. spouse of Sharon Althouse, Myerstown, Thomas W. spouse of Phyllis Althouse, Myerstown, Llwellyn spouse of Elaine Althouse, Myerstown, Michael Althouse, companion of Barb Shultz, Myerstown; daughters Louise spouse of Henry Gettle, Fredericksburg, Rosemary spouse of Francis (Pat) Boughter, Myerstown; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; brothers Harold Haak, Alvin Haak. She was preceded in death by sons Henry Althouse, Jr and Earl Althouse; sister Elizabeth Smith.
Viewing will be on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
