She was born on Tuesday, March 22, 1960 to John Backman and Rae Backman nee Thompson in Rock Island, IL. She loved being namma.
Surviving are husband Paul E. Souza; children Ammbrose Souza, Dain Souza, Ena Rotoli, Leah Souza; grandchildren Angelena, Julian, Elijah, Abri, Berlin, Kaden; brother James Backman.
Viewing will be on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Christman''s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Funeral services will be on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery, Virginia.
